Creativity in schools can be introduce by simply raising our expectations, raising the bar, and letting the student know that we expect a thoughtful and polished work. Many times students rush through getting assignments done because they know that they will receive a decent mark with the little effort they put in. To teach students to work hard and produce quality work, we need to stop giving everyone A’s and B’s. A true grade representative of a student’s work allows the student to seek feedback, learn from mistakes and put more effort into creating better work next time.
